The Amazing Race

Steven and I should apply to do the Amazing Race. Everything is so ambitious and too overwhelming, but it's getting done! Today had to be planed to a 'T' because he had his first presentation at 12:30 p.m. sharp. We still had to get one more print out for is board, detailing done on his vehicle, getting acrylic lasered, business cards ordered, and his designed guitar strung. As Steven was detailing his vehicle I went out to run all the errands. First, the printers. I went, picked up the board, got to the school to drop off board, pick up guitar and drive it to Burbank to get is strung up, and taken back to the school and mounted to the wall before his presentation. Here I went on my errands....Picked up the print board, ran to the school, put up picture, picked up the guitar and took off to the guy stringing it up. I looked at the clock and it was 9:45 a.m. I was on schedule to be back by 12:30p.m. if I left that moment. I ran out to the car and looked in my purse and I was missing car keys. I tried to stay calm, but it has hit me that I was in brain overload and did not have the capacity to remember where I placed them last. After 30 minutes of searching they were found but that set me behind 30 minutes. By the time everything was said and done I got back to the school at 1:30p.m. The doors where closed because they started the first presentation. NOOOOO!! He needed that guitar put up on the wall to complete his projects. The student came out of the studio and in when the next student, the door was closing and guess what I did?? I slipped quietly into the room and heard the presentation start on the opposite side of the room where Steven is set up. I was braking the rules! I creeped to his area and hung that sucker up, then listened to anyone's feet that could  be coming to catch me. It was silent, as I turned the last corner to rush to the door, the person in charge of keeping people out just turned her back to me... and off I went!!!! HA! I felt so cool when I got to the other side of the door and Steven's classmates looked at me weird and said, "How the heck did you get in there?" We had a really good laugh and my adrenaline was pumping!

I don't know how everything is falling into place!! So, after Steven's presentation he said that he felt good about it, but he needs to work on not talking so much. It was hard for him to not talk a lot because he had not slept since Saturday night. This presentation was nice because it was only 1 company and it felt more like a practice run for Steven because he was not interested in designing big rigs... so boring!
We ran off to Sue's house to take a snooze before we had to head back to school. Steven slept from 5:30- 12:00 a.m. But there was so much left to do that I felt guilty if BOTH of us slept because I knew we would not wake up. I left him sleeping and off I went back to the studio to do some more last minute sanding.
When midnight came I went back to Sue's house to wake up Steven, he hopped in the shower and I waited for him while I rested on the bed... I got woken up to the sound of a scribbling pen. Steven was on the floor writing out his speech. It was so cute to see him there. I am so proud of him!!!

Steven and I got our things together and off we went once again to school at 1:30 a.m....
