So much excitement!

So much excitement is building up inside of me that it could just burst!! We are on the count down to graduation!! I can't believe it, can you? Anyway... I am so proud of Steven. He has worked so hard. I don't think anyone can comprehend the amount of work he has done at school. We just see the finished product but have NO idea of what goes on "back stage." Steven is designing his LAST project for school and as usual I get the pleasure of seeing what does go on "back stage." It is so much fun this term, he has progressed so much!! Unfortunately, Steven has been living at school for the past two weeks, but he does come home for one day then goes back. On the bright side he will have this schedule for 3 more weeks.

When Steven started this term he went back and forth of what and how his senior project was going to be. It got a little intentness there for a couple months, but once he pulled in the reins I knew he was on to something good. Steven ultimately decided to go with Polaris as his brand, naturally. He also decided to get a hold of them to let them know this project is going on, he sent them his idea and they were excited to let him do the project and wanted to mentor him through. I get to see all the emails that go back and forth with "face lifts" that tweaked the vehicle ever so slightly, but makes the design so much more wonderful.

Since Steven is toward the end of this design he is getting ready to model it, which means to make a physical model as professional as possible...no pressure right? In terms past when he had to build his physical models he had poured LOTS of money into them and the results turned out okay, but not show stopping. This term is different, he is getting lots of help! Polaris has agreed to sponsor him!!!! Not only financially, but in helping him build the model! Polaris has connections with professional machinery, that we otherwise could not afford, in the L.A. area!!  So he has peace of mind that his vehicle will be show stopping!

I would LOVE to post some of his work, but it will have to wait till I can get the go ahead, just so I don't step on anyone's toes.  Yay,  for Steven!!! I could not be any happier. I love you baby!

As an example of how emotional I am and will always be-this post made me tear up...and I'm still choking down the crying. I'm so proud of Steven too!!!! Good luck surviving the next 3 weeks!
