I placed the bag down, knocked on the door as hard as I could, then heard, "come in!" Man, I was so scared, I ran so fast with Tanner in my arms, as I ran back to the elevator I thought, OH NO! What if someone on another floor pushed the button? At our complex the elevator can take quite some time to get to your floor. I thought I was going to be caught!! To my relief, as I pushed the button the door opened right away! As we got out of the elevator to the first floor, I felt as if I was being pursued by this women. Realistically, I was scott free because she was an elderly lady that told me to "come in," so I doubt she would be running.
Later that day, I told Steven about our little adventure and told him that if we do acts of service toward others, Tanner will grasp the concept so quickly, and hopefully will have that desire when he is old enough. I am so grateful for my many opportunities to make a difference in people's lives. Go out and do a good deed for someone today and see how you feel! :)
Happy Tuesday!
