Exercise

Ever since I could not run being pregnant I obviously lost my knack for running. I want to start tracking my progression on getting myself back to pre-pregnancy weight. So this is my first blog of many updates on my exercise adventures.

Yesterday I started my quest to get back on my path. I went on a walk with Tanner, my mom, and my sister on Mount Rubidoux in Riverside. It is about a 3 mile walk. When I say walk I don't mean, "Oh, look at the pretty flowers." I'm talking about burning of the legs and buns!

Then this morning I had a better experience walking 3 miles around the Rose Bowl. I went with my sister and Tanner, and it was a nice strolling walk. One part of the walk though I was getting the itch to run so I told myself, "Okay, lets run to that tree up there." I ran about 10 steps and realized I am not healed yet! I felt like I also felt like I was lugging a tire around my hips, Yuck!

I am excited to see how my body will progress in the next couple weeks. So in total I have walked 6 miles with an hour of Yoga. I think I am doing pretty well. I just need to remember to drink lots of water, I am not very good at that.

congratulations miranda! tanner is absolutely adorable.

don't be too quick to start the strenuous exercise. your body needs AT LEAST the 6 weeks to recover enough for that. but, running is the fastest way to shed all the baby weight...worked for me. :)
