Here We Are!

We moved about a month ago to Simi Valley and we have just gotten' to the point of functioning! YAY! I don't know why but this move was the hardest one we have done thus far, unpacking wise. Since 2004 we have moved 6 times, I am hoping this place will last longer than a year this time, fingers crossed.
For the last year we have been living out of our suit cases, living with my parents, and I have to say I loved it because you have what you need, non of this "I'll keep this, and that, because I like to hold onto things" mess.
While we unpacked almost EVERY thing that we forgot about will be sold or will given to the Good Will. I want to live simply, NO JUNK, no nick nacks  invading our home ever again. Before we made our move we were convinced we were moving back to Minnesota so we wanted to lighten our load and had a storage sale, sold almost all of our furniture! It's lots of fun now because we can live from scratch! My tastes have changed so I am excited to get to do what I want and start over!

As for Steven he is LOVING his job a BMW. The design company is in Newbury park so the trip for him is 15 minutes freeway and 20 minutes side streets. It's perfect! He is finding his niche and blending in with the company very nicely! So we will see where this job takes him/and us in the future! :) The blood, sweat and tears put into his education is paying off!! I was told, and I quote...

"Steven had a dream, went for it, he worked is ass (with strong emphasis) off and now he has accomplished his dream!"

Looking back at this roller coaster that has lasted 4 years finally came to a stop so we got off, and still are little dizzy and are shocked we made if out alive. It is such a blessing for our family that Steven can come home from work and LEAVE it there! We feel so blessed! We are just LOVING our new and improved way of living! :D

Off topic but, funny story... so we have been out of a camera for the last 5 months or so and have not been able to takes any pictures except with our phones, how lame is that? We thought we would have to just save up for one. A week or so ago we all walked to the park and as I was pushing Tanner in his stroller there was a hidden pocket and I saw the glimmer and it was CAMERA! Our stroller had been outside, during all kinds of weather, so we though this camera was gonner, welp... nope :) ... still alive! I am super excited! I am so happy we did not jump on buying a new camera, this proves to me that good things come to those who wait! :)
Now I have to be in the frame of mind to remember to be taking pictures!!

I did remember as we were walking out the door, ON TIME may I add, to church! :)

My stud muffin ready to go!
