Our first 5k!

Today my mom, sister and I ran our first 5k! My mom and sister came in first, while I came in fourth. The girl that came in third took a short cut, what a cheater. I do have to admit that the Weight Watchers "race" or 5k was called 'The Walk-It', and everyone was walking except the three of us and that girl who cheated. But HEY... we ran the whole thing!

It was held at Fair mount Park, I had no idea it had a lake there. I just knew this park was filled with bums. The lake however, reminded me a little bit of Minnesota, so calming and quiet. But,  I see people fishing in it and I would not eat the fish in there, it's a little to murky.





My mom is awesome, she has lost all of her weight, and it inspires me to keep going with my baby weight/ and being married weight. I have about 16lbs to go!
