The Drive to Cedar

Off we go to Minnesota! After we finished moving out we locked our door and said, "Au revoir" to our "Little Mexico." It was really liberating know we will NEVER see or hear them again.
We left around 1:00 p.m. aaaaand...
these pictures explain our trip for themselves...
About 10 minutes into our travel....
BOOOM!
We saw this the whole way!!!
We where going to go straight to Cedar to visit my brother,
but these stupid tail lights haunted us!
Being in the back seat with Tanner
for that long of a time, lets just say NOT FUN!
The times that he cried I was so stressed out. Imagine sitting, stuck in traffic with a baby, streaming in your ear, and not being able to help him.
I called my brother and he guided us to side streets and it cut off about 2 hours of traffic time, what a blessing.
After 8 hours of driving we decided to call
it quits in VEGAS! We stayed in a nice hotel off of the strip
for FREE thanks to Papa Doug. The bed was huge!!
Off we went early in the morning so
we would not hit any traffic. We arrived in
Cedar in about 4 hours,
and boy, that was a cake walk.
Tanner got to meet his new cousin Connor.
They were so cute together!
It was really funny because at night time
it was like the war of the babies.
Tanner was having a rough time sleeping and he would
cry, and cry, and cry. Finally he would fall asleep, but then
Connor would wake up and cry for a while then sleep.
It was like that most of the night!
Being tired, I was a very tired camper,
but it is funny now when I look back.
I would get their names mixed up all the time.
You would think you would know your own child's name,
but I kept calling him Connor.
Even when they were taking naps at the same
time I would get their cries mixed up when they awoke.
Conner is so sweet.
