Well... No Volvo. Boooo! But it is good that we found out fast so that we can move on to the next process of internship searching. Up next we have Polaris in Minnesota and RTT in Pasadena. There are pros and cons with each one.
Pros for Minnesota is that...
-We can move out of our dump of a place, I am grateful to have a roof over my head but...this particular roof is literally caving in.
-We get to have a brand new adventure.
-I get to experience snow.
-I will learn a new accent "dun't ya know."
-It will be like a vacation for about 4 months.
-Steven will be getting paid along with a GREAT experience!!!!
-He will be able to graduate December 2010.
Pros for RTT is that...
-It is 10 minutes away from where we live now. No commute!!!!
-We will still be relatively close to our families and friends.
-We don't have to pack up and move with a baby.
-Steven will be getting paid!!!
Cons for Minnesota is that...
-I can not wear my flip flops I have been wearing now for 5 years, I know...
-I have to learn to drive in snow.
-We will be a plane ride from our families for 4 months.
-Fear of the unknown.
Cons for RTT is that...
-We have to stay in our dump.
-We get to experience yet another year in Glendale.
- It is the last resort internship and he will have to do another internship to even have a prayer of getting a job after school.
-The second internship would be in Japan with out Tanner and Me for 4 months.
-It will make his graduation be put on hold until May 2011. NOOOOOOOOOO!
